Platform Use
LabConnect 360 is a digital workflow and information-management platform connecting doctors, specimen collection teams and laboratories. It does not diagnose patients or independently interpret laboratory results.
User Accounts
Access to the platform requires an authorised account. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials secure.
Authorised Access
Access is granted by role and permissions. Users must only access records and functions appropriate to their authorised role.
Medical Information
Medical and laboratory information handled by the platform is subject to access controls. Authorised results are released only to appropriate users.
Laboratory Responsibility
Participating laboratories remain responsible for their testing, quality control, authorisation and reporting processes.
Doctor Responsibility
Doctors remain responsible for clinical decisions made on the basis of laboratory results and other clinical information.
Data Security
Users must handle information in line with applicable privacy and security requirements, including POPIA where relevant.
Availability
While the platform is designed for reliability, no system is guaranteed to be available at all times. Critical operations should have appropriate contingency planning.
Third-Party Integrations
The platform may integrate with third-party services. Use of those services is subject to their respective terms.
Limitation of Responsibility
LabConnect 360 is provided as a workflow tool. To the extent permitted by law, the platform provider is not liable for clinical or operational decisions made using the platform.
